Alex Radunsky

I’ve spent the last 35 years building companies in international trade, consumer food brands, autosport, real estate development, and healthcare. These days I explore the economy, business, technology, and the way political decisions affect everyday life — and share my perspective on YouTube.

“I’ve followed politics my whole life — because it only takes one government decision to wipe out a business.”

About me

My family and I left the Soviet Union as refugees in August 1989. After six months in Austria and Italy, waiting for permission to enter the United States, we arrived in America in February 1990 and started over.

I worked as a loader at a grocery store, delivered pizza, sold shoes, and studied English at night. In 1991, I bought a used car in the U.S. and sold it in Minsk for about $15,000. It was the first of hundreds of cars I would ship overseas — and the start of my first business. Over the decades that followed, I built businesses in international trade, consumer food brands, autosport, real estate development, and healthcare.

Today, I make videos about business, politics, the economy, technology, and how society is changing.

“I wasn’t going to America. I was leaving the Soviet Union.”
